Burial in Providence Cemetery, Darke Co, OH.
d/o Matthew and Jennet McClurken who mar c1786 Laurens Co, SC (pos first cousins);
later widower father mar Mary Gaston Elliott, c1800 SC; is from research report of Pamela Pattison Lash.

Nancy was married 3 times:
1) Sgt Nathan Ramsey on 03 Jan 1811 in Preble County, OH
2) Alexander McClure on 25 Jun 1819 in Franklin County, IN, and
3) George Adkins on 08 Oct 1830 in Darke County, OH.

29 Dec 2022 - This memorial was previously posted as Nancy McClure, d/o Samuel McClure and Rosannah Steele. This is not true. She was the daughter-in-law of Samuel and Rosannah as she married their son, Alexander McClure. Alexander was b. abt 1790 in Rockbridge County, Virginia and d. 1827 in Darke County, Ohio. (sag)
