ORA M. DUNIFER
EL PASO, Tex. - Funeral services were held here for Mrs. Ora Pearl Mitchell Dunifer, 74, of El Paso formerly of Ogden, who died Aug. 30 of natural causes.
Mrs. Dunifer was born May 25, 1897, in Eaton, Ill., a daughter of Charles and Octavia Faught Mitchell.
She was married to Charles Paul Dunifer on May 11, 1923.
She was reared and educated in Illinois. She lived in El Paso and came to Ogden in 1945, returning to El Paso four years ago.
She had been a school teacher.
She had been a church organist, active in Boy Scout work and member of the Ogden of Eastern Star. She served on the Illinois Draft Boards during World War II.
Surviving are her husband of El Paso; two sons, Charles Paul, San Diego, Calif.; John Robert, Ogden; three daughters, Mrs. N. K. (Mary) Maluf, Saudi Arabia; Mrs. Norman (Lillian) Nye, Aneth, Utah; Mrs. R. K. (Elizabeth) Seegmiller, Mountain View, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are one brother Ralph Mitchell, Turlock, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Gene (Mary) Hill, Eaton, Ill.; Mrs. David (Ivy) Kindelberger, Mattoon, Ill.
Burial was in Evergreen East Cemetery in El Paso.
