EUGENE SHARP JR. DIES AT AGE 59; RITES FRIDAY
Memorial services will be held Friday for Eugene H. Sharp Jr. a lifetime resident of Hollister and an orchardist in the Pacheco district all his life.
Mr. Sharp, 59, died Tuesday in a local hospital after a brief illness.
He was a member of the San Benito Lodge 211, F and AM, Hollister Rotary, Royal Arch Masons, and the Farm Bureau.
Mr. Sharp is survived by his wife, Laura Voll Sharp of Hollister; a son, Eugene Sharp, and a daughter Laura Sharp, both of Hollister; a brother Fred Sharp and two nephews, Thomas F. Sharp and Andrew J. Sharp, all of Hollister.
Memorial services are at 11 a.m. at Black-Cooper-Ottesen Mortuary with the San Benito Masonic Lodge Officiating. Interment will be private at the IOOF Cemetery.
