Irma Mae Jackson, 91, of Nederland, Texas, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013.

She was born May 31, 1921, in Jenks, Oklahoma to Della and Thomas McCullough and had been a longtime resident of the area.

During her working years, Irma was a longtime Avon representative and was a Rosie the Riveter during World War II. She was a charter member and very active in 7th Street Baptist Church, Nederland, where she belonged for many years.

Irma is survived by her daughter, Patricia Wicker; son, Sherman Marshall Jackson; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sherman Jackson; daughter, Gail Beris; two brothers and two sisters.

Her funeral will be at Broussard's in Nederland, Texas.

Interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches, Texas.
