Helen Bryant, 75, of Gainesville, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a short illness.
Born Jan. 30, 1935, to the late Thomas Lee Sr. and Carrie Lee Bryant, she was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County. Miss Bryant was a homemaker and attended Prospect Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Flonnie Reynolds and Lula Belle Ingram and brothers, William "Jay" Bryant, Clarence Bryant, Willis Bryant and Thomas Bryant Jr.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Franklin Grant and the Rev. Stanley Hicks will officiate. Interment will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
