Henry served as a teamster with the U.S. Army during the Civil War. It is unclear if he ever married Emma Brougher or returned to Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. My 2nd ggf Elmer Ellsworth Floyd was their only child. After the war, Harry moved out west and was a driver and stablehand with the Army at Fort Lyon, Colorado. In about 1872, he married Emma Townsley. By 1874, he was an assistant clerk at the Post Trader. He died sometime before 1885, as his wife and children Harry and Lillian were living with Levi S. Campbell that year according to the 1885 Colorado Census. Harry was buried in the Fort Lyon Cemetery, but was re-interred, along with an infant daughter, Rebecca, at Ft. Lyon, in the Las Animas Cemetery on 15 April 1890. This information found at http://usgwarchives.net/co/bent.htm--click on Las Animas Cemetery.
