MRS ORA STEWART, 63, died of natural causes yesterday, March 4, 1958, at the Miners Hospital in West Frankfort. She had been ill for several years. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 1958, at 2p.m. at the North Benton Baptist Church. She was the widow of the late Silas Stewart, who was killed in the Orient #2 mine disaster in 1951. She is survived by nine children: Clyde, Gene, James and Jack Stewart; Mrs. Wilma Sims, Mrs. Denzil Miller, Mrs. Maxine Miller, Mrs. Billie Burzynski and Mrs. Gladys Flatt, all of Benton. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Emmett Crawford, Benton; Charles Crawford, Taylorville; Mrs. Fay Whitlow, Benton; Mrs. Veda Bagwell, Texas; Mrs. Ollie Belle Burlison, Joliet, and Mrs. Lois Hepburn, Fairmount. Mrs. Stewart was a member of the Flatts Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton.
