Carol Anne Turner Hickman, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at her home in Blountville, TN. She was born March 7, 1951 and lived her entire life in Blountville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Taylor Dulaney Turner and George S. Turner; husband, John F. Hickman; and an infant daughter, Roxanne Elizabeth Amyx.

Riding horses was one of Carol's loves. She participated in many horse shows, winning many ribbons in her youth. She was a member of Blountville Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her brother, George "Bud" & wife Janice Turner of Bristol, TN; nephew, George "Robbie" & wife Michelle Turner of Gray, TN; niece, Kerry & husband Chris Lancaster of Bristol, TN; great-nephew, Nate Lancaster; three great nieces, Rachel and Reagan Lancaster and Hannah Harrison; step-children, Cindy Canter, Tony Hickman, Tim Hickman and Mike Hickman; several cousins and special companions, Devon and Max.

Funeral services will be held at Tri-Cities Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in Blountville, TN with Rev. Ike Brighton officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. before the funeral. Interment will follow in Tri-Cities Memory Gardens, Blountville, TN.

Pallbearers will be George "Robbie" Turner, Chris Lancaster, Nate Lancaster, Ray Peters, Larry McClellan and Matt McClellan.
