Scott L. Jennings, 84, passed away April 16, 2013. He was born in Kossie (sic), Texas on October 10, 1928 to Scott G. and Georgia Jennings. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and as a Police Officer for the Federal Protection Service. He was a faithful and beloved member of Jernigan Memorial Church of the Nazarene. He had a love for music and enjoyed singing solos and with the church choir. In 1958, Scott married Mary L. Barker and they shared 42 wonderful years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and two brothers. He was survived by sons, Eric, John, Victor, Steven and Philip Jennings; sister-in-law, Ruth Watson; niece, Judy Snyder; nephew, Terry Watson and many extended family members and friends. Viewing was from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., Thursday, April 18 at Mercer Adams Funeral Service, Bethany, Oklahoma. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 19, 2013 at Jernigan Memorial Church of the Nazarene, with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
