Viola "Tootsie" Louise Stone, 75, died Sunday night in her home at Strickland Crossing, Pineland, Texas. Tootsie was born in Livingston, Texas, to Harry Richard and Evelyn Kelly Burch. She attended the First Baptist Church in Bronson, TX.

Mrs. Stone is survived by her sons; David Stone of College Station, TX, Donald Stone of Pineland and Kerry Stone of Pineland, her daughter Shelia Whitton of Evadale, her brother Roy Burch of Livingston, her sister Opal Davis of Houston, seventeen grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 9:00PM, Wednesday, April 17, 2013, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, TX. Funeral services will be at 10:00AM, Thursday, April 18, 2013, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at 3:00PM in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas.
