Alvina M. Billeter, 78, of Hutchinson, died Sept. 24, 1999, at Vie. Christl Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus,Wichita.
She was born Oct. 17, 1920, at Newton, the daughter of David and Mary Elizabeth Weinmeister Ruff. A Hutchinson resident since 1955, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and Telephone Pioneers, both at Hutchinson.
On Nov. 20, 1945, she married Charles W. Billeter at Hutchinson. He died Feb. 20,1982.
Survivors Include: two sons, David W., Hutchinson, and Scott H., Tempe, Ariz.; a brother, Raymond "Ike" Ruff, Newton; and a grandson.
She was preceded In death by two brothers, Henry and Herman Ruff; and three sisters, Marie Ruff, Eva Smith and
Esther Anderson.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday In Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Elliot Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association in care of the mortuary.
