Nancy K. 'Grandma' Langston
June 28, 1914 — March 30, 2003
Funeral services for Nancy K. "Grandma" Langston, 88, of College Station will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
The Rev. M.B. Flippen will officiate.
Burial will in Los Osos Valley Memorial Park in Los Osos, Calif.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. until the time of services Monday at the funeral chapel.
Mrs. Langston died last Sunday.
Born in Hatch, New Mexico, Mrs. Langston lived for 10 years in College Station, where she worked with children's groups at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. In Salem, Oregon, she helped with veterans' groups, AARP and Meals on Wheels. She was a beautician.
Survivors include three daughters, Ann Chastain-Homick of Denton, Nancy Lee Dewell of Sparta, Mo., and Wilma Castano of Redlands, Calif.; a brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Ellen Holden of Salem, Oregon; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Memorials may be made to the Nancy Langston Fund, Point Blank, 525 I-35 East South, Denton Texas 76205.

Note: Surviving daughter "Nancy Lee Dewell" was Nancy Lee (Chastain) Dowell. Nancy Lee Ruby Kathryn (Holden) Chastain Langston shares a crypt headstone with her sister Ruth Lee Holden Dickey in Los Osos Valley Memorial Park Cemetery and Mausoleum.
