Vickie Laurine Flores Turner, 63, passed away at the Vidant Bertie Hospital in Windsor, NC on Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Born in Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Eddie Gray Flores and Mary Olive Tedder Traxler of Lucama. She is survived by her husband, Milton Turner of the residence, and her stepfather, Eugene Traxler.
She also leaves her daughter, Melissa LeAnn Turner and her grandson, Justin Blizzard to cherish her memory.
Also surviving are her siblings, Larry Flores and wife Laraia of Salem, VA, Stella Crawford and husband Larry of Lucama, Julie Coley and husband Tim of Nashville, NC, and Paul Flores and wife Leigh Ann Warren of Clemmons, NC.
The Funeral will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Minshew-Coley Funeral Home Chapel in Kenly with Visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, just prior to the service. Rev. Wayne Whitley will be officiating. Burial will occur at the Upper Black Creek Church Cemetery.
