Helen M. Dauch, 86, of Clyde, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the Bellevue Hospital.
Helen was born in Cleveland on Sept. 1, 1926. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1944. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bellevue.
Helen had formerly been a 4-H advisor for many years and a member of the Lions Auxiliary. She dearly loved her grandchildren; great grandchildren, husband, children and God. Her flowers and yard were a source of pride to her, spending many hours working outside. She also enjoyed baking, cooking and being a caregiver to all.
Helen was proud to be a farmer's wife, but had worked for fourteen years at the Sleepy Hollow Golf Course.
On January 9, 1947, she married Wayne Dauch. He survives along with daughters, Patricia Sengstock, Clyde; Kathleen (Dan) Michel, Bucyrus; Paula Dauch, Clyde and son, David Dauch, Clyde. Thirteen grandchildren: David Smith; Tony (Sonya) Smith; Bradley Parker; Jamie Parker; Brian Michel; Jason Michel; Brad Downing; Brian Downing; Jeromy Dauch; Nicole Dauch and Jason Dauch; fifteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Dauch was preceded in death by a son, Roger; her mother, Anna Lewicki; and siblings; Ann Radomski; Jennie Van Fleet; John Lewicki; Casmer Lewicki; Steve Lewicki and Frank Lewicki.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8:00 PM at the Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue. Her funeral mass will be Friday, April 19, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Jonathan Wight officiating. Burial will be in Parkhurst Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Church or to a homeless shelter.
