West Memphis - RAY H. PULLIAM, 90, passed away November 21, 2011 at his residence in West Memphis. Mr. Pulliam, a retired farmer, was of the Baptist faith, 32nd Degree Mason and a faithful friend of Bill W. for 62 years. He was a Chief US Navy WWII veteran. He met and married his wife, Ione "Nonie" Otterson Pulliam while both were stationed in the Panama Canal Zone. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, his parents, Theo William and Edith Carter Pulliam, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by three sons, Carter Pulliam of Proctor, AR, Richard Pulliam of Bartlett, TN and Bruce Pulliam of West Memphis; two daughters, Sherry Murphy of Atlanta, GA and Rikka Pulliam of West Memphis; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, November 25 from 10-11 a.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, with services starting at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, and interment following in Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, AR. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association , 909 W. 2nd St., Little Rock, AR. 72201.
