James Donald Calico
80, of Grassy Lick Road, Mt. Sterling passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at St. Joseph-Mt. Sterlilng Hospital. He was born in Madison County, Kentucky on September 14, 2012 the son of the late George W. and Nannie Ogg Calico. He was a businessman and farmer, a member of the Christian faith, a veteran having served in the US Air Force and the widower of Barbara Teater Calico.

He is survived by one son, Ronald (Beth) Calico of MT. Sterling; one sister, Belva Calico Hensley of Paint Lick, KY; three grandchildren, Joshua (Lyndsey) Calico of Lexington, KY, Jake (Cenora) Warner of Jeffersonville, KY and Karie Warner of Mt. Sterling; one step grandchild; two great grandchildren and one step great grandchild.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, George Calico and Ambrose Calico.

Funeral services are 11 AM, Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Davis officiating and burial following in the Paint Lick Cemetery in Madison County. Friends can visit from 6-9 PM at the Taul Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Ben Johnson, Danny Fitzpatrick, Milt Ward, Tom Burnam, Billy Hensley, Aaron Thomas, Johnny Calico and James Davis.
