AZLE - Mary Jean "Ma" Elliott, 70, a homemaker, departed this life, Thursday, May 27, 1999, at a Fort Worth hospital to enter her heavenly home with the Lord she loved.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Baptist Church of Fort Worth.

Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.

Memorials: Grace Baptist Church of Fort Worth Nursing Home Ministry at P.O. Box 150780, Fort Worth, Texas 76108.

Mary Jean Elliott was born July 25, 1928, in Dill City, Okla. She had been a resident of Fort Worth for 51 years and moved to Azle in 1970. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and an inspiration to all.

Survivors: Husband of 51 years, John W. Elliott; son, Michael Elliott and wife, Patricia of Palo Pinto; daughter, Jeanie Sheppard and her husband, Kent of Azle; sister, Nadine Banwart of Dill City, Okla. and Freda Anderson of Canyon, Minn.; grandchildren, Jason, Elliott and wife, Celeste, Kenda Pennington and her husband, Tom, Eric Elliott and wife, Tammy, Amy Sheppard and friend, Kirk Thomas, Katy Elliott, Emily Puente and her husband, Brian and family and Jamey Saint and her husband, Travis; numerous loving brothers, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and treasured friends.
