PERRYSVILLE: Marcella Meyers, 93, of Perrysville, died Monday morning, April 15, 2013 in Colonial Manor Health Care Center, Loudonville. Mrs. Meyers was born Jan. 22, 1920 in Hanging Rock, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Frank and Olive (Cable) Jones. She was a 1938 graduate of Hanging Rock High School and worked for a time as a Licensed Practical Nurse but was mainly a homemaker and mother. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Perrysville and enjoyed quilting and cross-word puzzles. On Dec. 20, 1944 she married George A. Meyers and he died April 20, 1991.
She is survived by two sons: Frank (Sherry) Meyers of Mt. Gilead, and David Meyers of Perrysville; 5 grandchildren: Shanna (Chris) Supplee, Tony Meyers, Michael Johnson, John Flenner, and Robert Meyers; and 5 great-grandchildren: Elaina, Ethan, Reed, RiLee, and Zeke Supplee. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a great-granddaughter: Elisabeth Supplee; 2 brothers: Jack and Clifford Jones; and 3 sisters: Erma Jones, Verna Angel, and Mildred Bryant.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April18, at 11:00 AM in LINDSEY FUNERAL HOME, LOUDONVILLE, with Rev. Kathleen Walkerow, officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Perrysville.
