Louis Buenger, Sr., Granite City, route No. 1, died Sunday evening at 8 o'clock. The body has been taken to Schildmann's Funeral Home on Madison Ave., where it will remain until 12 o'clock, noon, on Wednesday, when it will be taken to St. John's Church. Services will be held there at 2 o'clock. Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery.
Mr. Buenger would have been 80 years of age on March 1. He died of complications and old age. His wife preceded him in death 15 years ago.
Surviving are five sons and five daughters: Mrs. Lauisa (sic) Bauer, Mrs. Amelia Willaredt, William Buenger, Mrs. Mary Schaper, George Buenger, Mrs. Emma Branding, Mrs. Clara Beckmann, Charles Benger, Louis Buenger, Jr., and Walter Buenger. A sister, Mrs. Lydia Wolf, of Granite City, and 19 grandchildren, also survive.
