Services for Dennis Byron Thurman, 56, of Paducah will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Dan Owen will officiate, with burial in Mount Kenton Cemetery.
Mr. Thurman died at 12:31 p.m. Friday at Lourdes hospital.
He was an employee of VMV Enterprises, a member of the International Association of Machinists and former member of the Lone Oak Lions Club. He was a member of Broadway Church of Christ and a former deacon of Lone Oak Church of Christ. He participated in jail ministry and was an evaluator of Bible correspondence courses.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Ann Sutton Thurman of Paducah; his parents, Horace Wendell and Lurline Burkhart Thurman of Paducah; a daughter, Rachel Elizabeth Lane of Benton; a son, Paul Byron Thurman of Paducah; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
