Lieutenant (LT), United States Navy, Korean War. Graduate of the United States Naval Academy (USNA) Class of 1946. While serving as a Naval Aviator assigned to Fighter Squadron One Ninety-Four (VF-194) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Boxer (CV-21) he perished in a mid-air collision while on a training flight over the Pacific Ocean - his remains were not recovered.
