Funeral services for Mrs. Effie Odom, 90, of West Monroe were at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Kilpatrick's Funeral Home of West Monroe with the Rev. Dr. Clifton Tennison officiating.

Burial was in the Monroe Memorial Park.

Mrs. Odom died Thursday in the Ridgecrest Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Monroe, and a native of Union parish.

Survivors include two sons, Raymond Odom, Dallas, Tex. and D. H. Odom, West Monroe; two daughters, Mrs. Lou Burch, Start and Mrs. Mose Compton, West Monroe; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
