Terry Allen Floyd, Jr., age 41, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 in Huntington, WV. He was born February 28, 1972 in Port Charlotte, Fl. Terry lived in Arcadia from birth until he visited Ohio in 2007 and chose to stay, but missed everyone here very much and longed to come home.
Terry enjoyed the "outdoors life"; he went hunting, fishing and camping as often as possible with family and friends. Terry always had a Love for Life and a kind gentle heart. He went the extra mile for family, friends and even strangers. He touches a special place in everyone's heart he came into contact with and will never be forgotten.
He is survived by one son AlanMichael C. Floyd of Arcadia, Fl., parents; Danny and Sharon Collins of Arcadia, FL, and Terry and Marsha Floyd of Arcadia; two brothers Shawn D. (Dawn) Collins of Cape Coral, FL and Shane Floyd of Arcadia, FL; two sisters Sheri (Tuan) Mguyen and Misty Floyd both of Arcadia, FL, one niece Hayley Collins of Cape Coral, FL; two nephews Jordan Collins of Sheridan, WY, Jeremy Collins of Cape Coral, FL. and many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Friends. Terry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd S."Bill" and Allean LayPort, Henry Collins, Jeanette Collins Schreiber, Merle Floyd and Velma Floyd Kelsey.
A visitation of family and friends will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Homes, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 2:00PM at the Church of God Arcadia, 1423 NE Oak St., Arcadia with Rev. Steve Griffin and Rev. Jimmie Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Joshua Creek Cemetery.
