OBITUARY :
MRS. ELIZABETH FAHRNEY COFFMAN, 75, a resident of the Fahrey-Keedy Cottages, Rt. 2, Boonsboro, died at the Washington County Hospital Friday afternoon.
Born in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Peter D. and Katie Eavey Fahrney.
She was a member of the Church of the Brethren and served with her husband in pastorates in Maryland, Idaho, virginia, Florida, Ohio and Indiana. She was a graduate of the Blue Ridge College.
She is survived by her husband, the Rev. McKinley Coffman; three daughters, Mrs. Jane Pellam of Westminster, Mrs. Katherine Bowman of Brookville, Ohio and Mrs. Margaret Ann Lindover of South Bend, Ind.; one son, H. McKinley Coffman of New Windsor; one sister, Mrs. William Eunson of Bloomsburg, Pa.; and 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held from the Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. McKinley Coffman and the Rev. Donald E. Rowe will officiate.
Burial will be in Manor Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 7 to 9.
The family request the omission of flowers. Memorial donations may be made to the Fahrney-Keedy Home.
