Mrs. Inez Moore
Funeral services for Mrs. William M. (Inez) Moore, Sr., 78, were held Wednesday, February 8, at 2:30 p.m. from the Chapel of the First National Funeral Home, with Rev. George M. Hall, pastor of the First Baptist Church and Rev. Jack Bennett, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment was in the Arlington Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore died Tuesday, February 7, at 6:45 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gordon Marsalis, with whom she made her home. She was born on May 8, 1882, at Athens, and had lived all her life in this vicinity. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Sam Simpson and Mrs. Gordon Marsalis, both of Homer; one sister, Mrs. Lon Melton of Arcadia; five brothers, D.C. Aubrey, T.P. Aubrey, and Perry Aubrey all of Homer, Richard Aubrey of San Saba, Texas, and John Aubrey of Brownwood, Texas.
Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
