Known In Webster Parish
HOMER, La.--William M. Moore, 57, died Saturday afternoon of a heart attack, following a day in business downtown. Funeral services were held from the residence at 4:30 Sunday. Rev. V.L. McKee, pastor of Baptist church officiated. Burial was in the Arlington cemetery at Homer.
Mr. Moore was the son of the late Mrs. Artis Johnson Moore and Creighton Moore, a pioneer family of Claiborne parish. For many years he had been prominently identified with the mercantile business in Homer, and had a wide acquaintance throughout North Louisiana.
Surviving are the widow, three daughters, Mary, Ethel and Mildred. Three sons, Rev. Frank Moore, Robert, and Billie, one grandson, David Moore, all of Homer; six brothers, B.H. Moore, F.N. Moore, H.D. Moore, Homer, F.K. Moore, Monroe, John Crichton Moore, Shreveport, Marcus Moore, Snyder, Okla.
