PUGH, James William (Age 76)

Loving husband, father and grandfather, James served with the U.S. Army from March of 1954 to March of 1957. He worked at the shipyard in San Diego, CA until 1987, then went to work for Noah Homes until 1993 then moved to Spokane, WA in 1993. He retired from S.L. Start in 1996; he then began volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and Second Harvest Food Bank.

Through Knights of Columbus he volunteered at the VA Hospital. A member of Spokane Indians Booster Club for many years. James spent his summers in Section I at the Avista Stadium.

Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Virginia Pugh, his sons, Daniel and wife Charlene, Dennis and wife Nicole, his daughter Anne and husband Dan Perkins. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tara Perkins, Jenea Walker, Josh Archer, Jake Archer, Jami Pugh, Jodi Pugh, Samantha Pugh, Zechariah Pugh and Nicholas Pugh.

A Rosary will be held Friday, April 19th., 7pm at St. Paschal Catholic Church 2523 N. Park Rd., with services at St. Paschal on Saturday, April 20th at 10am burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
