GIRARD – John E. Schuster, 70, died Friday, April 12, 2013, due to a short battle with cancer.
He was born May 3, 1942, in Girard, the son of the late John F. and Erma Zander Schuster.
John worked at General Motors in Lordstown for 31 years, retiring in 2001. John graduated from Girard High School in 1960. Upon completion of high school, he registered with the Navy and National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1964.
He is survived by his wife, the former Rose Marie Guthrie, whom he loved dearly. They were married on March 21, 1966.
He leaves behind his four children, Tammy (Brian) Rowles, Raymond (Marilyn) DeRamo, Lisa Schuster and John (April) Schuster; 14 grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Star.
He was preceded in death by his only sister, Ruth Ann (Williams) Schuster.
Interment at Tod Homestead Cemetery with military honors.
