PALMYRA, Mo. -- Jamie Dawn Lowe, 15, of Palmyra, died Sunday (Feb. 20, 1994) from injuries suffered in an airplane accident near Grain Valley Airport Sunday morning.
Jodi Gelletta Lowe, 9, of Palmyra, died Wednesday (Feb. 23, 1994) in Childrens Mercy Hospital in Kansas City from injuries suffered in the same accident.
Jamie was born March 20, 1978, in Hannibal, a daughter of James C. and Connie L. King Lowe. She was a sophomore in Palmyra High School and a member of the pompon squad. She attended Palmyra First Baptist Church.
Jodi was born April 23, 1984, in Quincy, Ill., a daughter of James C. and Connie L. King Lowe. She attended fourth grade in Palmyra Elementary School and attended Palmyra First Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling.
Jamie and Jodi are survived by their father of Palmyra; their mother of Shelbina; two stepbrothers, Justin Wilson of Quantico, Va., and Joshua Wilson of Palmyra; a stepsister, Jordan Hopson of Palmyra; grandparents, Donnie G. and Shirley King of Shelbina and Claude and Lucille Lowe Jr. of Quincy, Ill.; great-grandparents, Hugh King and Margaret Todd, both of Shelbina, and Gelletta Lowe of Quincy. Also killed in the accident were a stepsister, Jessica Hopson, and their stepmother, Susie W. Lowe.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Palmyra First Baptist Church by the Rev. Rodney Woods, the Rev. Harold Hendrick and the Rev. Marty Lowe. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Shelbina Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday in the church.
Memorials in the name of Jamie and Jodi Lowe may be sent to Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra, which is handling arrangements.
