Death due to his own negligence, died from injuries received while attempting to jump onto a train that was moving at approximately 15 MPH.
An inquest was held at Siddell, which was the location of the family home. It is assumed that he is buried at Snow Cemetery because other family members had been buried there. There was no headstone for him here, but a memorial stone for him was placed in 2014 by LouJane Adams Wills, his Grand Niece.
