Stanley Hasbrouck, Sr. of New Paltz, a lifelong resident of the area, and a retired contractor and owner of Stanley Hasbrouck Sr. Contracting, died Saturday, Sept. 28, at New Paltz Nursing Home, New Paltz. He was 93.
The son of the late Henry and Sarah Wagner Hasbrouck, he was born Jan. 5, 1898, in New Paltz. He was an Eagle Scout; a member of Holland Society; a member of Paltz Club, New Paltz; a member of New Paltz Rod and Gun Club, New Paltz; and a member of the Church of the Nazarene, New Paltz.
Survivors include one son, Stanley Hasbrouck Jr. of Highland; two daughters, Evelyn Supple of Orono, Maine, and Elaine Warringer of the state of Florida; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of the Nazarene, 170 Route 32 North, New Paltz.
Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the church. The Rev. David Trauffer will officiate.
Burial will be in New Paltz Rural Cemetery, New Paltz.
