MRS. MARY WENE
Death of This Most Estimable Woman
Last Night

Mrs. Mary Wene, wife of Mr. William Wene, died at her home, 90 North Second Street, last night, after a long illness. She was 68 years of age and heart failure was assigned as the immediate cause of her death. Mrs. Wene was a noble Christian woman, having early in life connected herself with the Presbyterian Church, and remaining a faithful member up to the time of her death.

Her pure Christian life and many noble traits of character endeared her to all who knew her, and the announcement of her death will be received with deep regret by a wide circle of friends and acquaintances. Mrs. Wene was born and reared near Cincinnati, and had been a resident of this city for several years. She leaves a husband and nine children.

Funeral services will be conducted at McNeilly Presbyterian Church, at 2 o'clock to-morrow afternoon, Revs. R.C. Reed and B. H. Franklin officiating. The burial will take place at Mt. Olivet.
