Mrs. Sadlowski.

Simon F. Sadlowski, Jr., age 72, of 2747 Fricke Drive, Manitowoc, passed on to eternal life unexpectedly at home on Friday morning, July 12, 2002.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2002, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, Newton. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Gilbert Jacobs with burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Alverno.
Simon was born Sept. 8, 1929 in Beaver Dam, son of the late Simon and Hilda Deglow Sadowski, Sr. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from 1951 to 1953. On Oct. 2, 1954, he married the former Gertrude Miller at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Brillion. Simon was a lathe operator for the Foley Co. for many years, retiring in 1993. He was currently employed with Roorbach's Flowers in Manitowoc, Simon was a member of the Catholic Knights and St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community.
Survivors include his wife: Gertrude Sadowski, Manitowoc; four sons and one daughter-in-law: Scott Sadowski, Manitowoc; four sons and one daughter-in-law: Scott Sadowski, Steven and Kathy Sadowski, Shawn Sadowski and his fiancée, Naomi Schmidt and Stacy Sadowski, all of Manitowoc; three very special grandchildren; Justin, Tyler and Miranda Sadowski; six sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law: Elaine Sadowski, Manitowoc; Sister Cosmas Miller, Slinger; Marian and Robert Hanagan, Appleton; Catherine and Clayton Baeten, Kaukauna; Agnes Miller, Whitelaw; and Gertrude Miller, Brillion; four brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Kosmas and Helen Miller, Janesville; Philip Miller and special friend, Mary, Brillion, Carl and Doris Miller, Brillion; William Schuh, Manitowoc. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one brother: Richard Sadowski; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Lawrence and Anna Miller, Tillie and Edward Schuh, Caroline and Raymond Lang, Marcella and Alex Fischer, Norbert Miller, Vincent Miler, Josephine Schuh and Mary Miller.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, on Sunday, July 14, 2002, from 4 to 8 p.m. and also on Monday morning at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, Newton, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. A prayer service will beheld at 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening led by Brenda Korinek.
Simon enjoyed life with his family and his grandchildren. He had a passion for gardening and decorating. Simon will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
