HERBERT RUCHHOEFT

Herbert A. Ruchhoeft, 92, of 3706 Gass Lake Road, Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening, August 4, 1991 at Manitowoc Health Care Center. Funeral services will be 8:15 am Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 9 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno. Presiding the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Mike Sommers with burial to follow at St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
He was born May 25, 1899 in the town of Newton, Manitowoc County, son of the late Herman and Mary Trost Ruchhoeft. Mr. Ruchhoeft owned and operated a farm in the town of Newton until his retirement in 1965. He was a member of St. Joseph Parish and St. Joseph Holy Name Society.
Survivors include a brother, Herman Ruchhoeft of Manitowoc; three sisters, Pauline Stueber of Whitelaw, Marie Felber of Manitowoc, Viola Blashka of Manitowoc; a brother-in-law, Rudolph Nemetz of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Erna Nemetz, Eleanor Schaus and two brothers, Alfred and Erwin Ruchhoeft.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 5 pm to 8 pm Friday. Prayer service will be held at 7:30 pm led by Father Mike.
