Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
and at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Silver Lake. The Rev. D. H. Hurley
will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was born Mary Trost Sept. 3, 1870, in the Town of Newton, daughter of the late
Joseph and Magdeline Rienderman Trost. She was a lifelong resident of the county.
She was married to Herman Ruechhoeft Oct. 6, 1896, and they farmed all of their
lives. Her husband died Dec. 7, 1925. She was a charter member of the Christian
Mothers Society of the church.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Rudolph Nemitz of Manitowoc, Mrs. Anton
Stueber of Whitelaw, Mrs. George Schaus of Hilbert, Mrs. Marie Felber of Manitowoc
and Mrs. Viola Blashka of Rt. 4, Manitowoc; four sons, Herbert and Herman of Rt. 4,
Manitowoc, Alfred of Rt. 2, Pound, Wis., and Erwin of Manitowoc; brother, George
Trost of Rt. 1, Manitowoc; 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where the Rosary will
be recited at 8:15 p.m.
