Wilber Grimes
Dennison - Wilber D. Grimes, 82, of RD1, a retired clay worker for the former Dennison Sewer Pipe Corp., died of cancer Saturday in Valley Manor Nursing Home in New Philadelphia.
Born in Harrison County, he was a son of Hiram and Nancy Brown Grimes and was a World War I veteran and a member of Tunnel Hill United Methodist Church.
His wife, Mina Fern Adams Grimes, died in 1964 and two brothers and three sisters also preceded him in death.
Surviving are two brothers and a sister, Russell Grimes of New Philadelphia, Harry L. of Highpoint, N.C., and Mrs. Leota Gatchell of RD 1, Uhrichsville.
Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home where friends may call tonight from 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Revs. Donald Stillaman and Russell Barkley will officiate and burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery at Coshocton.
