Byron A. Owens, 56, of 1121 Wellman st., SE, died at his residence this morning. Mr. Owens was a lieutenant in the veterinary department during the World war. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna Owens; four sons, Willard, Roy, Robert and Owen at home; three daughters, Mary and Mrs. Dorothy Willaman, at home, and Mrs. Mildred Holmes, of Massillon; a sister, Mrs. John Nottman, of Massillon; a brother, David, of Youngstown, and seven grandchildren.

The body is being held at Griffith's funeral home pending completion of funeral arrangements.

The funeral of Byron A. Owens, 56, of 1221 Wellman st., SE, lieutenant in the veterinary department during the World war, who died Wednesday morning, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the residence. The Rev. Paul E. Secrest, pastor of the First Methodist church, will officiate. Interment will be made in the West Brookfield cemetery. A partial military service will be held at the cemetery.

Secrest, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiated. Interment was made in the West Brookfield cemetery. The pall bearers were Guy, Byron, George and John Notman and L. R. and Willard Owens.
