A RECORD AND REMINISCENCES
Although Mr. Linn had several children, only four lived to a mature age: Edward W., d. in 1892; Ellen,
who married Thomas H. Watts, a Kentuckian, d. in June, 1921; Annie, who first married William Matthews, a Kentuckian, second, John Charles Henley, my first cousin. She died in June, 1921, just forty-six and a half hours after her older sister passed away. My wife, Lizzie Linn, who married, first, William L. Scott, second, Thomas H. Molton, died on April 29, 1919. Mrs. Watts had several children who died in childhood, and left but one son, Thomas Haynes Watts, Jr., who was accidentally killed while out hunting when on a visit to the writer in November, 1921. Haynes married Miss Julia Glass of Memphis, Tenn., and they have one son, Thomas Haynes, Jr.
