WALTER EHLE

Walter H. Ehle, 74, of Harrison, died Monday, June 26, in the Clare Osteopathic Hospital following a short illness.

Born in Clare County on February 19, 1904, he had served as a county drain commissioner for 15 years. He was a member of the Congregational Church of Harrison and the Masonic and Eastern Star Lodging in Harrison.

Mr. Ehle and the former Lula Adelblue were married on December 29, 1926, in Gladwin.

Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Alfred of Gladwin and Roger of Harrison; one daughter, Mrs. Alma Jesse of Harrison; 4 brothers, 2 sisters, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Services were held today, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. at the Congregational Church. The Rev. Bob McCleary and the Rev. Carl Gillett officiated and burial was in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison. Arrangements were in charge of the Coker Funeral Home. Gladwin County Record dated 6-28/1978
