The death of Darius T. Clark, occurred at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ada A. Delano, northwest of this city on Tuesday, March 3, 1914. The funeral services were held this afternoon at one o'clock from the home and burial made in the Masonville cemetery.
Mr. Clark was born in Illinois on July 19, 1835. He was united in marriage to Miss Mary Moore at Red Wing, Minnesota, in 1861. Two children were born to this union as follows, Mrs. Delano of Manchester and F. H. Clark of Bernard, Iowa.
Mr. Clark served in the Civil war from 1864 to the close of the war. He removed to Earlville in this county in 1865 and from there removed to Plainview, Nebraska, where he resided for two and a half years when he returned to Earlville. In 1892 he removed to Masonville and has lived there until his death at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Delano.
The bereaved relatives are extended the sincere sympathy of their friends.
