The eldest of five children, Darla was the daughter of Thomas Warren and Jennie Mae Fullmer Wickham. Born in St. Anthony, she was raised in Wilford and attended school in St. Anthony. She completed her GED at age 46 while employed at Ricks College. She married Gary Holsey, divorced; Cliff Turner; divorced and George Johnson, divorced. Darla devoted her life to service. Loved by all those who knew her and her family felt blessed to have her in their lives. Employed as a housekeeper at the hospital and custodian at the College, she enjoyed the outdoors, especially the sound of rushing water in the rivers and streams. Preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Jeffrey Tom Turner, Jr., and a great grandson, Matthew Pixler, she is survived by the following children: Tami Holsey, Ed Turner, Janet Gail, and Jeff (Karen) Turner; siblings Karen Hammer, Judy Winters, Glen Wickham, Sandra Wickham and Roberta Latham; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Darla passed away at the Rexburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
