Mark Kyle Tanner died Feb. 5, 2000 in Dallas, Texas, the result of a car accident. He was 42.

He was born Oct. 8, 1957, in Cleburne, Texas. He graduated in 1976 from Shawnee High School, where he played football and baseball.

Tanner worked as a senior landman for Enserch Exploration and National Energy Group in Dallas since graduation from East Central University in Ada, in 1981.

Survivors his wife, Lisa Freeman Tanner of Dallas; parents, Bill and Ellen Tanner, of Edmond; brother, Bill Tanner Jr. and wife Paula of Waco, Texas; brother Keith Tanner and wife Ginger of; sister, Kimberley and husband Mike Salter of Edmond and several nieces and nephews.

His services were 1:30 p.m. Monday in Waco. Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco.
