EUNICE~It is with the heavy hearts that the family of Lloyd Joseph Sanders announces his passing on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Msgr. Robert Romero Celebrant.
Lloyd was a veteran of the United States Army, proudly serving his country. He was owner and operator of T&H Well Service Company. His greatest joys in life were his family including his two sons, Jack Austin Sanders and wife, Anne, and Patrick William Sanders and wife, Tammie, all of Eunice; two daughters, Bobbye S. Arnold, and Pamela S. Lavergne and husband, David, all of Eunice; brother, Michael Ray Sanders of Eunice; two sisters, Joyce S. Comeaux and Sue S. Carrier, both of Eunice; eleven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
He now rests in Heaven with his beloved wife, Jackie Trichel Sanders; parents, Austin and Genevieve Vidrine Sanders; and son, John "Buster" Homer Sanders.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, April 16th from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Wednesday, April 17th from 8:00 am until time of services. Recital time of a Rosary is pending Tuesday evening.
