Services for Mary Ella Milliken Bagwell, 95, of Paducah will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Billy Weaver officiating. Burial will be at Mount Kenton Cemetery.
Mrs. Bagwell died at 9:50 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, at Superior Care Home.
She was a retired teacher for both Paducah City school system and McCracken County school system. Mrs. Bagwell was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Teacher's Society, Paducah-McCracken County Retired Teacher's Association and McCracken County Homemakers Club. She was a member of Maxon Christian Church, where she had taught Sunday school. Mrs. Bagwell was a graduate of Murray State College.
Surviving are one daughter, Mary Kay Workman of Paducah; one son, Tom Bagwell and wife, Margaret, of Hixson, Texas; three grandchildren, Susan W. Kizer and husband, Jamie, of Collierville, Tenn., Jana W. Fletcher of Collierville, Tenn., and Terri B. Cheatham and husband, Stuart, of Atlanta; and four great-grandchildren, Paul Fletcher, Kayla Fletcher, Katie Kizer and Sara Beth Kizer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Monroe Milliken and Rexie Waller Milliken; her husband, Key Kevil Bagwell; one son-in-law, James A. Workman; and one sister, Anna Faye Blewett.
Friends may call Friday from noon until the funeral hour at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
