Passed away in Sacramento, Wednesday Feb. 13 at the age of 65. Born July 3, 1947 in Sacramento. He attended Woodbine Elementary, Fern Bacon Jr. High and Luther Burbank High School. He served in the Army and was stationed in Germany as a Tank Driver. He then went to work for Safeway warehouse and later for Signal Depot for a number of years.
He was preceded in death by his father Dink, mother Elvita, sister Elain, and son Ritchie Carney. He is survived by his nephew Lonnie and sister Doris. Ed had a lot of friends and will be greatly missed.
There will be a memorial held for Ed on April 14 at The V.F.W. Hall, 7576 Stockton Blvd. at 4:30pm. It will be a potluck so please come and bring a dish and help celebrate Ed's life.
