EAST LONGMEADOW - Kevin John "Kevy" Boyce, 69, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Kevin was born on May 4, 1943, in Hartford, CT. He was the loving son of the late Eugene A. and Florence (Stark) Boyce. Kevin married his loving wife, of 41 years, Beverly (Reynolds) Boyce on April 8, 1972, and together they resided in East Longmeadow, for 35 years. Through the years, Kevin was employed by various companies in the Springfield area. Most recently Kevin was a driver for 13 years with Staples in Manchester, CT, before retiring in 2004. Kevin enjoyed the outdoors and was a man of great faith. His warm and loving personality endeared him to his family and friends, who will miss him dearly. He was an active and devoted, 28 year member, of Celestial Praise Church of God in Springfield. Besides his wife Beverly, Kevin is survived by his loving children, Richard C. of East Longmeadow, Susan L. Deacon of Beckett, MA, and Linda A. Barron and her fiance, Steven C. Nogueira, of Ludlow; sister, Linda G. Anderson, of East Longmeadow; 5 cherished grandchildren, AJ Stagnaro and his wife Marissa, Jamie and Jen Deacon, Cynthia Stagnaro, and Kevin Barron; and 1 great-granddaughter, Makaila Windoloski. Besides his parents, Kevin was also predeceased by his sister, Barbara Zogry. Kevin's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, at 11 a.m. at Hafey Springfield Chapels, 494 Belmont Ave., followed by Rites of Committal with burial at Hillcrest Park Cemetery in Springfield.
