Mrs. W.J. McFarland of Dallas, former resident of Eastland, died at her home. Mrs. McFarland is a sister-in-law of Mrs. Ina Bean, manager of the Hillside apartments in Ranger. She was raised in Ranger and will be remembered as Cordie Dowdy. Survived by one daughter who lives in Ranger and a son stationed in Japan.
