Clara Louise Newton, 79, of England, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 12, 2013. Clara was born to Scottie and Myrtle York.

Clara began working at the Bank of England in 1967 and retired in 2008 after 41 years. She taught Sunday School for Pre-School age children at Landmark Baptist Church for 35 years. She taught her children to love God. Clara loved her family and family always came first. She loved life and the life that she was given.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Marie Cole, two brothers, Scottie York Jr., and Bill York. She is survived by her husband Baisel of 58 years; one daughter, Claire Rita (Rod) Rockwell and one grandson, Eric (Casey) Rockwell; two sisters; Betty (Robert) Cole and Ann (Bo) Pearson ; four brothers; Rodger (Mary ) York, Charlie (Linda) York, Faye York and Marlin York.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 14, 2013, from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Roller England Funeral Home (501)-842-3939. Services will be Monday, April 15, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Landmark Baptist Church England, Arkansas with burial in Mulberry Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Janice Dean APM, Dr. Dilap, Dr. Burnett, Dr. Mitchem, and Dr. McCracken, SCIU at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.
