Tony was born in South Allan to Joseph and Elizabeth Brossart. Losing his mother when he was only one, he gained a stepmother, Regina and four stepsisters. He was the youngest of seven children, losing two brothers in infancy.

He started school at Limestone Hill, later attending in Allan.

Tony was enlisted in the Armed Forces from 1941 to 1946.

Marrying his childhood sweetheart, Hilda,in June,1946, they began their life together on the farm west of Allan. Like many other young farmers, Tony raised livestock, milked cows and worked hard at seeding and harvesting crops. As he was a very dedicated man to his Catholic faith, weekly mass was a major part of his routine. He was a lifetime member with the K of C.

Tony worked as a Security Guard from 1969 to 1976 at the Allan Potash Mine. They moved into Allan in 1973, continuing to farm until 1995, when he sold the homestead. His talents in town after leaving the farm were found in his garden, growing tomatoes and cucumbers, taking great pride in sharing with his family. With having seven children and spouses, 18 grandchildren and 18 great- grandbabies, he always found the time to enjoy many sports activities, weddings, birthdays and family reunions.

In 2003, Tony and Hilda moved to Saskatoon, spending his last three years at St. Ann's Nursing Home. Our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the Nurses and Staff at St. Ann's, making special efforts to keep him comfortable and at peace in his final days.
