A Memorial Service for Joyce Fae Pinckard Kramer, 75, of Jigger, LA will be held 3 PM Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Life Church in Winnsboro, LA with Rev. Kevin Bates officiating. Visitation will be 2 PM Sunday until time of service at the church.
Joyce was born to the union of her parents Thomas Archie and Dorothy Knox Pinckard on March 31, 1938 in Jigger, LA and passed from this life April 13, 2013 in Jigger, LA.
After living in California for several years Joyce returned to her home town of Jigger in 1997.
From the time she graduated from High School Joyce was in some way, always involved in the medical field and retired with Winnsboro Medical Clinic.
Joyce was an active member of Life Church
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Donald Howard Kramer; two sons: Thomas Bruce Kramer and Timothy Douglas Kramer.
Joyce is survived by her brother: Grady Archie Pinckard and wife Karen of Jigger, LA: three Grandchildren: Kristen Elizabeth Kramer; Stephen Wayne and wife Amber Kramer and Nathan Donald Kramer; Great Grand son: Eli Kramer; daughter-in-law: Mary Kramer; all in California, two nephews: Erick and wife Kathleen Pinckard of Brea, CA and Brian Wilkinson of Jigger, LA; one niece: Tammy Smedley and one Great Niece: Taia Smedley both in California. She is also survived by her forever sister-in-law Susan Pinckard, mother of Erick Allen Pinckard & Tammy Smedley.
Joyce also left behind the pets she loved so dearly, Bear, Sugar, Dixie and Casey, who upon her death immediately made themselves at home with Grady, Karen and their 6 pets.
It was according to her wishes that she be immediately cremated.
Grady and Karen will take her ashes to California and a second memorial service will be held for family and friends there. In respect of her wishes they will intern her with her son's at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Cypress, CA.
